Job Overview

Provide programmatic and technical support to DoD programs, Defense, and Commercial Industry customers charged with planning, assessment, management, and decision-making for all stages of weapon system life cycle support; including system design and development; resource scheduling and requirements planning and analysis; program documentation development; and other aspects of program coordination and execution

Implement methods, tools, algorithms, including preliminary data exploration, preparation and visualization, model calibration, specification or estimation, and validation and verification using a comprehensive range of technologies (e.g., software packages, programming languages, computation environments) and multiple structured and unstructured data sets. Interpret and evaluate the results of data science methods, models, and algorithms. Translate the meaning, limitation, and scope of results for impactful outputs.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Develop scripts and code that automate data collection, cleansing, analysis, and formatting for ingestion into the Opus Suite
  • Develop and deliver product demonstrations addressing educational customer / prospect needs
  • Develop new solutions to specific technical requirements; Support the technical team in scoping of implementations
  • Provide onsite technical expertise
  • Support implementations and usage of products; Help resolve issues that may arise in their implementation and support
  • Learn OPUS Suite capabilities and be able to articulate its various value propositions to different target audiences. Understand what the software does, what services are provided and what support is available
  • Conduct and/or provide support to a variety of cost estimation, performance trade-off studies, and analysis activities for programs and acquisitions:
  • Support preparation of presentations and other materials to support project and/or system functions. Leads activities to identify project risks and develop mitigation plans
  • Draft correspondence, reports, white papers, minutes, spreadsheets, communications products, briefs, and other documentation. Develop educational focused documentation for re-use
  • Maintain and tracks action items, and participates in acquisition information management
  • Develop subject matter expertise in Federal and Corporate acquisition, Budget, Program Management, System Engineering Lifecycle, and Cost Estimation concepts
  • Effectively balance competing priorities while coordinating subtasks with team members


Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to work in dynamic and challenging environments.
  • BS Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a scientific/technical disciple or 4 years of relevant experience
